Personal Information

Interests in Water: Since I live in the Sahel in the very north of Senegal, I have much interest in water projects of any form for my area I am working in now. I have a special interest in building a well and a latrine for the historical fort of Podor, so we have the capabilities to allow the tourists to stay longer and feel more confortable. This I believe will make them much more willing to stay longer and pump money into the local Podor economy with their tourist euros and dollars. I also have interest in small scale garden projects along the Senegal river which take motor pumps and irrigation to supply the farmers with water for their trees and produce. Their is a potential to do many projects with these farmers and gardeners which if successful could drastically increase their production numbers and increase food security in Senegal.
