Interests in Water: Without water, we perish. While we in developed countries have nearly unlimited supplies of fresh, clean water, billions of people elsewhere do not. Right now, I'm educating myself on the State of Water, learning to identify my own wasteful habits and reduce my water usage. Later, I hope to be knowledgeable enough to persuade others to do the same, as well as to encourage my local, state and federal governments to work globally to protect the world's water supply and ensure everyone has enough.
What I Do: A few months ago I left my job with a lively, entrepreneurial green biz to help care for my granddaughter and to more fully research and write Realizing Ordinary and its companion blog, Village of Ordinary. Blog posts on Realizing are more frequent than previously, and the Village is growing without updates to Rose's journal until I sort out the answers to a bunch of questions.
